Special Invitation

St. Joseph South San Church cordially invites everyone in our parish community to join us as we celebrate the Ordination of Rev. Isak Keyman-Ige. Father Isak will celebrate hist first mass on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Mass will be followed by a potluck in the parish hall held by our community in honor of this blessed occasion. We encourage everyone to bring a covered dish to share with Fr. Isak and our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Welcome to St. Joseph South San Website!

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the St. Joseph South San Antonio Catholic Church web site. Throughout this website you will find information about our church as well as some of the events and activities that will be taking place. We will begin to use this website as a means to connect with each other more efficiently to proclaim and discuss God’s word.

This new year will be our first year using our new online community site. Our website will be updated weekly and you will soon be able to access all important information about church events and mass times. Lector, altar server, choir, Eucharistic minister, and other ministry schedules will be posted on here every month as well as Formation meetings and special announcements.

The following information can be accessed:

  • View Schedules & Bulletins
  • View Mass Times & Mass Schedules
  • View Monthly Calendars
  • Learn about CCD, RCIA, & other religious education
  • Contact the parish office
  • Request Hall Rental Information
  • Educate yourself about the different sacraments
  • Get to know about the different church Ministries
  • Participate in online discussions regarding mass, readings, gospels, activities, CCD, etc…
  • Interact with fellow parishioners and ministers.

As WebMaster of St. Joseph South San, I believe we can make great use of technology to bring us closer to God. One way of doing so can be done by using our Message Board system. You can now interact with one another about church activities, meetings, and most important of all- the word of God. If there is ever something you don’t understand, please feel free to make a post on the Message Board Forum and engage in conversation with your fellow parishioners. Here you may also find conversations about an upcoming event or activity in the parish. Our site is user friendly so don’t let your computer skills stop you from hearing the call.
